Horsham German Fest

November 17, 2018

2PM - 10PM

Welcome to the 2019 Horsham German Fest where you are invited to celebrate the region’s German heritage on November 9th.

Maydale Reserve at the Horsham Showgrounds will play host to the Horsham German Fest once again 4pm – 11pm with a large open-air space allowing plenty of alfresco dining overlooking the picturesque Wimmera River in the afternoon, then lots of German fun in the evening!

A traditional beirhalle (beer hall) in The Maydale Pavilion will feature live music direct from Adelaide, local DJ’s, a fully licensed bar and of course what would a German Fest be without a beer stein holding competition?

Authentic German beers have been sourced and for the non-beer lovers there will be Aussie favourites!

A variety of food trucks with katoffelpuffers, schnitzels, kranskies, pfankuchen, berliners and other surprises will be waiting to be consumed in the alfresco dining area in the beer garden! A second exclusive ‘silo bar’ will cater for everyone’s needs and what’s a festival without giant jengar and dominoes?

Tickets will be available online soon!  The Maydale Reserve does not have EFTPOS facilities, so make sure you cash up before you arrive. A beer/drinks ticketing system will be used on the day. The drinks ticket box will be open at the gate on arrival.

Group bookings are available as well as designated driver (DD) packages.

On site camping is available for $16.50 powered site and $11 for unpowered site. For online booking details or last-minute bookings, contact the Fest Director, Andrea Cross on 0400 425 254.

The Horsham German Fest is managed by the Horsham Agricultural Society with the support of an experienced crew of community volunteers and lead by local Event Manager, Andrea Cross as Fest Director.
