Welcome to the 2019 Horsham German Fest where you are invited to our #oktoberfestinnovember on November 9th!
Maydale Reserve at the Horsham Showgrounds will play host to the Horsham German Fest once again from 3pm – 11pm with a large open-air space overlooking the Wimmera River just beyond the Beer Garden with the Silo Bar. Enjoy your favourite pub rock tunes with live acoustic muso Col Williams will help you settle into the mood.
A traditional beirhalle (beer hall) in The Maydale Pavilion will open after dark with a dance party with Vornhem Audio Visual. Another a fully licensed bar will be open and of course what would a German Fest be without a beer stein holding competition and selecting the best dressed German party girl and guy! PLUS we’re hosting our very own paint & wine night called ‘A Brush with Beers & Bubbles’. For just $20 you can enter the art studio in the beer hall and we’ll turn you into an artist in 45 minutes! Admission to the studio includes one drink, paint, brushes and canvas. If you just want to watch, viewing is free!
Authentic German beers have been sourced and for the non-beer lovers there will be Aussie favourites!
A variety of food trucks will also keep your tastebuds keen!
The Maydale Reserve does not have EFTPOS facilities, so make sure you cash up before you arrive. A beer/drinks ticketing system will be used on the day. The drinks ticket box will be open at the gate on arrival.

The Horsham German Fest is managed by the Horsham Agricultural Society with the support of an experienced crew of community volunteers and lead by local Event Manager, Andrea Cross as Fest Director.
